These mermaids were inspired by the work of Hans Christian Anderson.
I’ve always been drawn to mythology about the sea and mermaids. The two mermaids on the rocks are designed to replace the original mermaid sculptures by Randall Lyall that sat on the rock at Ben Buckler from the early 60s until they were washed into the sea.
